Education & Experience
Dr. Halgren dedicated 11 and a half years of his life to fulfilling his dream of becoming an orthodontist. During that time, he sought out opportunities to further his knowledge and serve the communities around him. He even spent two months serving the underprivileged in rural Dominican Republic. He continues to seek opportunities to learn and serve the people of Mount Vernon and Orcas Island.

As a dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Halgren continues to seek opportunities to advance his education and knowledge of orthodontics, even after completing his 11-and-a-half-year journey through higher education. Dr. Halgren participates in his community and holds competitions at his office to help his patients stay involved and enjoy their time in orthodontic treatment. His hard work and dedication show both in the results of his patients as well as in the awards and recognition he has received.

The Importance of Serving Our Community
Dr. Paul Halgren and his family are proud to call Mount Vernon their home. For the Halgrens, great smiles run in the family! Dr. Halgren’s wife, Dr. Keri Halgren, serves the Mount Vernon community as a dentist. The pair live in Mount Vernon with their two daughters. Both are very proud and thankful to get to serve the community and impact such a large part of so many lives.
Dr. Halgren is passionate about the field of orthodontics and about making an impact on his patients. He is also dedicated to improving the communities where he serves. He is a member of many professional dental and social organizations; the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, Seattle Study Club, Mount Baker District Dental Society and Skagit Rotary.
